Platen Master® Tire Press Assembly

Platen Master® tire press assemblies are a non-standard heavy wall hose of Teflon® assembly specifically designed for the demands of tire platen presses.

• Non-standard heavy wall of Virgin PTFE (Teflon®) provides outstanding durability to withstand thermal cycling in operation
• Fittings have anti-torque wrench hex, enabling faster installation and reduction of hose torque
• Special close pitch wire spiral applied over the entire length which prevents over-bending at the end fitting where most failures occur
• Fitting attachment uses metal-to-metal lock ensuring reliable fitting to hose joint retention
• Stamped identification for each assembly assures complete quality control inspection
• Rated for 1000 psig at 450 degrees F that sets high performance and safety standards

Platen King® Tire Press Assembly

In further development of the Platen Master®, Hoseco® engineers developed the ultimate in safety with the Platen King® tire press assembly for top platen presses. Platen King® tire press assemblies are specifically designed to ensure safety of the operator is paramount throughout the curing process.

• A specifically engineered coupling locks the anti-kink spring guard into the fittings - which contains the hose whipping in the event of a hose failure
• Tightly formed anti-kink spring guard forces the hose into an arc and reduces kinks and failures behind the fitting
• Assembly engineered to hold its shape, keeping the assembly from getting caught in the loaders
• High temperature insul-sleeve cover added to each assembly, which reduces thermal variation
• Non-fraying outer sleeve, which provides added wear resistance and protection
• Non-standard heavy wall Teflon® tube, which reduces heat loss
